A native country boy from Bhojpur in Bihar joined Indian Army, was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in Corps of Signals at the age of 22 and still discharging his selfless service dedicated to the nation in olive green. He served India in length & breadth and has held many prestigious command, staff, instructional appointments in his career of almost three decades. He commanded a platoon, company, battalion in operational areas of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Punjab. His tenure as officer commanding of Infantry Division Signal Company on the Line of Control in J&K during the year 2000 could fetch excellent results in neutralising infiltrations & threats from across the international borders.
Colonel Rajesh is recognized as an authority on counter-terrorist operations due to his vast experiences in tackling terrorism in J&K and Assam. He has done extensive research on Disaster Management while in service to negotiate the situations of military and civil nature and earned his Ph.D. Degree from Ranchi University, and widely known as Disaster Mgt Expert. His academic proficiency and lust to acquire knowledge made him the uninterrupted recipient of successive degree of MA & M.Phil in Human Rights, Fellow in Electronic & Communication Engg, MBA from Symbiosis,Pune, M.Sc in Forensic Science and Diploma in Defence Management etc, still pursuing his D.Litt.
